Delhi Revenue Minister Atishi has shot off a letter to Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar stating “laxity” in processing flood aid support and directed him to submit a standing report back to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and her by Monday 6 p.m.

In the letter, Atishi talked about that on Friday night, she, together with the Principal Secretary Revenue, Ashwini Kumar, and the involved officers of the Revenue Department, reviewed the standing of the monetary support of Rs 10, 000, which was to be given to flood-affected residents of Delhi.

Atishi stated every of those officers needed to course of the aid for 70 households. They had to supply aid to seven households per day. And that too has not been achieved. She stated such laxity was completely stunning.

“All the officers deployed by you are holding crucial positions in important departments like Health, Education, Finance, PWD, Tourism, etc. If they are showing such laxity in times of emergency and disaster, I am deeply concerned about what they would be doing in the day-to-day tasks of their departments, ” her letter learn.

Atishi has stated within the letter that the Chief Secretary should be certain that all officers are deployed on Saturday and Sunday to course of the aid for flood-affected individuals in order that the cash will be transferred into their financial institution accounts on Monday.
