Amritsar : Shiromani Akali Dal ( sanyukat ) jathedar Ranjit Singh Brahmpura targeting Sukhbir Singh Badal said that he was responsible for the huge loss to the Sikh community. In a press statement issued after meeting party leaders, workers and public, Jathedar Brahmpura alleged that Sukhbir was not a politician but a corporator. He stated that just because of the seat, he has again joined the BJP and is speaking their tongue.In the recent times, BJP leaders had also used the terms goons, fake agriculturist etc. to refer to farmers. The BJP is an anti-farmer party, which is why the country’s benefactor has been struggling day and night in Delhi for nine months, said Brahmapura.He said that BJP government in Karnal and Sukhbir Badal were responsible for inhumane treatment of farmers in Moga. When the united Kisan Morcha has made it clear that no party will be allowed to hold rallies in the state, then why is Sukhbir deliberately spoiling the atmosphere in Punjab. He strongly condemned the incident that during the peaceful farmers’ protest in Moga yesterday, the police and the administration beat the farmers with sticks, disrespected their turbans and is this all democracy taught them?
Ranjit Singh Brahmpura reminded Sukhbir Singh Badal that the food grower was not a interloper but a benefactor to country whose peaceful struggle has been recognized globally. Ranjit Singh Brahmpura made it clear that they would not allow Modi government to usurpation of farmers ‘lands at any cost, for which they are pressuring the state governments to acquire farmers’ lands which maybe given to corporate houses and capitalists.Jathedar Brahmpura appealed to people of Punjab especially the Sikhs to be aware of clumsy politicians like Sukhbir Badal to make state great again.
