The nationwide capital on Wednesday recorded a minimal temperature at 8.3 levels Celsius, one notch above the seasonal common, the India Meteorological (IMD) Department stated.

The IMD’s forecast for the day confirmed that the utmost temperature is more likely to hover round 18 levels, with the minimal at round 8 levels.

According to the weatherman, average fog will persist.

Visibility recorded at Palam station stood at 700m at 7 a.m. and 500m at Safdarjung.

While the air high quality continued to stay within the ‘very poor’ class at a number of stations throughout town, varied stations witnessed it within the ‘extreme’ class as nicely.

In the Anand Vihar space, at 9 a.m. PM2.5 ranges have been recorded to be within the ‘very poor’ class standing at 391 and PM10 reached 365, based on the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).

The Air Quality Index (AQI) between zero and 50 is taken into account ‘good’; 51 and 100 ‘passable’; 101 and 200 ‘average’; 201 and 300 ‘poor’; 301 and 400 ‘very poor’; and 401 and 500 ‘extreme’.

The IGI Airport (T3) recorded PM2.5 ranges at 385, and PM10 at 397.

Dwarka Sector 8 witnessed PM2.5 ranges at 437, and PM10 was at 403, each falling underneath the ‘extreme’ class.
