Police in Bengaluru have lodged an FIR in opposition to individuals of a silent pro-Palestine protest within the metropolis for not taking permission to stage the demonstration.
The FIR was registered on Wednesday.
In the protest held town’s Saint Mark’s Road on November 5, the individuals carried posters and placards supporting Palestine within the wake of the raging Israel-Hamas warfare in Gaza.
Due to the protest, motion of autos on the highway was was affected and visitors was thrown out of drugs.
The police have booked a case below the IPC Sections 149 (illegal meeting), 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant), 283 (hazard or obstruction of public approach), 290 (public nuisance) and 291 (repeat of public nuisance).
