Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, on the Prakash Parv of Guru Gobind Singh on Wednesday, carried out a particular puja on the City Palace, the place she worshiped his 338-year-old sword stored there.
“The story of sacrifice, and bravery of Guru Gobind Singh will always inspire us all, ” she stated.
A Shabad Kirtan was organised and prasad was distributed to everybody.
On the event, the sword has been stored for vacationers to see at Sarvtobhadra Chowk of the City Palace.
Guru Gobind Singh spent a while in Nahan in what’s now Himachal Pradesh’s Sirmaur and whereas leaving, had offered his private sword to the then ruler as a memento.
Jaipur, titular Rajmata Padmini Devi, who’s from Nahan, introduced the sword to Jaipur a couple of years in the past. Since then this sword has been within the City Palace.
Members of the Sikh group expressed their gratitude to Padmini Devi for giving them darshan of the Guru’s kirpan.
