Over the final two weeks, lots of of Indian Overseas Congress (IOC) members have campaigned extensively in Rajasthan searching for a second consecutive time period for the Ashok Gehlot-led authorities within the November 25 elections, campaigning for which ends on Thursday night.
In the run-up to the Assembly polls, the desert state has witnessed an intense political motion with high-octane campaigning by heavyweights of the BJP and Congress, together with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and several other others throughout the state.
IOC Secretary Virendra Vashisth, who can also be campaigning together with the NRIs within the state, advised IANS, “For over last two weeks, hundreds of NRIs have returned to the state to participate in campaigning.They are also indulging in door to door campaign of the party enumerating the Congress government’s achievements during its rule to every household.”
The NRIs have returned to their house state on their very own to focus on the works of the Congress authorities within the desert state, he added.
The IOC chief stated that the non-residents are highlighting how the Congress authorities has fulfilled the ten guarantees it made in 2018 and the way the seven ensures will assist them once more.
He stated that the members of the IOC household have campaigned extensively in Jaisamler, Jodhpur, Jaipur, Bikaner, Udaipur and several other different districts of the state.

Polling for the 200-member Assembly is scheduled on November 25 and counting of votes will happen on December 3.
