New Delhi:   With 34, 703 new Covid cases, India on Tuesday recorded least spike since March 17, said the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry, as just 553 passings were accounted for in the greatest help since April 6.

This comes only four days after the nation crossed the horrid four-lakh-passings achievement because of Covid. On May 23, India saw the most noteworthy fatalities with 4, 454 passings in 24 hours at the pinnacle of the subsequent wave. On March 17, India had recorded 35, 871 instances of Covid, while 630 passings were accounted for on April 6.

India is the second nation after the US to record multiple crore cases, adding one crore cases in only 50 days during the subsequent wave.
