Patiala: Punjab state power corporation limited has issued instructions to field officers for maintaining effective power supply due to rising demand in agricultural, domestic, and industrial sectors.This was stated by Shri A.Venu Prasad CMD PSPCL in a press note issued here today.
CMD PSPCL Shri A.Venu Prasad has appreciated the field officers/employees for their diligent dealing with power consumers in difficult situations round the clock during the power crisis in the state.
In a communication to all chief engineers of the distribution zones, Shri A.Venu Prasad hoped that their continuous and sustained efforts would further help PSPCL in strengthening the confidence of esteemed consumers of the state.
CMD said that directions have been issued to the field officers to visit villages to daily from 5 to 19 July to meet sarpanches /kissan unions to listen to their grievances and take note of major works required in villages.
He said that each sdo , senior xen , and Superintending engineer will visit 5 villages daily in their sub division, division and circle of PSPCL respectively.
CMD said that the issues which cannot be resolved at SDO/Sr.Xen should be stepped up to SE/CE level.He said that substation engineer and senior xen P&M visit all grid sub stations within a week time.
He also said that all chief engineer distribution will monitor activity of the distribution officers and chief engineer P&M will monitor grid activity of the substation engineers on daily basis.
