Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Friday criticised State BJP President Sunil Jakhar for ‘placing foot in his mouth’ by talking a ‘bare lie’ on the difficulty of rejection of tableau for Republic Day by the BJP-led Union authorities.
In an announcement right here, the Chief Minister stated whereas the state authorities had at all times stated that the Modi authorities had rejected the tableau of the state due to its “anti-Punjab” syndrome, however Jakhar was making an attempt to be ‘extra loyal than the king’ by justifying the transfer of the Union authorities that, too, on false floor.
He added that Jakhar misled the folks of the state by asserting that the tableau of the state included his photos or that of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, which was a lie.
Mann stated now that the Ministry of Defence had clarified that there have been no photos of him or of Kejriwal within the tableau, including that the lie of the State BJP President had been uncovered.
The Chief Minister added that the tableau designed by the state was geared toward showcasing its wealthy cultural heritage together with custom of sacrifice and martyrdom throughout the Republic Day Parade.
Criticising the Central authorities for rejecting the tableau, Mann stated the BJP authorities is enjoying such soiled ways to humiliate Punjab, including that martyrdom and sacrifices are a part of the fantastic heritage of the state, which was to be highlighted within the tableau.
