Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan, on Sunday expressed deep grief over the unhappy demise of 9 military troopers after an Indian military automobile fell right into a deep gorge in Leh district of Ladakh.

Expressing deep sorrow over the accident, S. Sandhwan mentioned that JCO Ramesh Lal (41), son of late Prem Singh, a resident of Sirsari village of Faridkot district, was among the many troopers who misplaced their lives throughout this incident. He mentioned that Ramesh Lal had joined the Indian Army 24 years in the past. He shared heartfelt condolences with household of Ramesh Lal.

The Speaker prayed earlier than the Almighty to grant everlasting peace to the departed souls and to offer braveness to the bereaved households to bear this irreparable loss.
