Mohali : The traffic problem on Airport Road in Mohali will now be solved. The Greenfield Road would provide an alternative route to traffic from the Delhi side to Himachal Pradesh, parts of Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir.
its important to note here that MP Manish Tewari had taken up the issue with Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari and the project would be implemented by the National Highway Authority of India at a cost of about Rs 700 crore. The 32 km long road would start from IT junction near Airport Road and meet at Kurali-Chandigarh Road. Work on this project will begin soon.
He said that all round development of Lok Sabha constituency is his priority and with the commencement of Kharar flyover earlier, the many kilometers long traffic jam has been reduced.
