Mohali: The political winds of Vidhan Sabha constituency Mohali saw huge changes today when the former mayor of Mohali Municipal Corporation Sh. Kulwant Singh was declared the candidate from Mohali constituency by AAP.
As soon as he was announced as the candidate, Shri. Kulwant Singh convened a house packed meeting of local AAP leaders and workers at his Sector 79 office in Mohali and inspired the enthused party workers to work for the win of Aam Aadmi Party in the upcoming elections. Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Budhlada Assembly constituency Principal Budh Ram reached the meeting and congratulated him urging the party workers to work hard for the upcoming elections.
Before addressing the meeting of party workers, Shri. Kulwant Singh thanked the party supremo and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Member of Parliament Bhagwant Mann and party co-incharge Raghav Chadha. He said that this huge gathering of people in this very first meeting was an indication that a huge change is going to take place in the politics of Punjab.
Talking about the victory of Aam Aadmi Party in its debut Chandigarh Municipal Corporation elections, Sh. Kulwant Singh said that after the landslide victory in the capital, the Aam Aadmi Party would now form the government in Punjab with a thumping majority and the corrupt rule in Punjab would come to an end.
