New Delhi:  The Ministry of Jal Shakti said on Wednesday that one lakh towns and 50, 000 Gram Panchayats have become ‘Har Ghar Jal’.

The Jal Jeevan Mission accomplished an achievement in giving faucet water supply to each family in one lakh towns across India, in a brief time of 23 months.

As of now, 71 regions, 824 squares, 50, 309 Gram Panchayats and 1, 00, 275 towns have accomplished the objective of ‘Har Ghar Jal’.
