Rajya Sabha MP Vikramjit Singh Sahney on Friday raised the difficulty of launch of Sikh prisoners present process imprisonment in instances associated to Punjab militancy, saying lots of them had been going through severe bodily and psychological well being diseases.

Sahney demanded that there needs to be uniform nationwide coverage that governs the Centre and state governments and decides the untimely launch and remission instances in order that uniformity needs to be maintained.
He drew the eye of the House that a few of the prisoners who had been granted remission like Gurdeep Singh Khera and Devinder Pal Bhullar and whose loss of life sentence was commuted to life imprisonment like Balwant Singh Rajwana by the Union authorities haven’t but been launched.
