Punjab Revenue, Rehabilitation and Disaster Management Minister Bram Shanker Jimpa has launched Rs 33.50 crore to all Deputy Commissioners to cope with the flood state of affairs as per the directions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. He mentioned that this quantity has been given as advance fund to the deputy commissioners to cope with the potential risk flood state of affairs and to mitigate the lack of human lives, homes and animals.

Jimpa mentioned that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has already introduced that the Punjab authorities will assist the affected folks in each method on this troublesome time. He mentioned that as per the rules issued by the Chief Minister, the quantity has been transfered within the accounts of the DCs. He mentioned that Rs. 1.50 crore has been launched to Amritsar, Rs. 1 crore every to Bathinda, Barnala and Faridkot, Rs. 1.50 crore every to Ferozepur and Fazilka and Rs. 1 crore to Fatehgarh Sahib.

Similarly, Rs. 1.50 crore for Gurdaspur, Rs. 1 crore for Hoshiarpur, Rs. 2 crore every for Jalandhar, Kapurthala and Ludhiana, Rs. 1.50 crore for Moga, Rs. 1 crore every for Mansa, Malerkotla and Pathankot, Rs. 2 crore for Patiala and Rs. 2.50 crore has been given to Rupnagar district.

The Revenue Minister additional knowledgeable that Muktsar Sahib was given Rs. 2 crore, Rs. 1 crore every has been launched to S.A.S. Nagar and SBS Nagar, Rs. 1.50 crore to Sangrur and Rs. 2 crore has been launched to Tarn Taran.

Jimpa mentioned that the Deputy Commissioners have been requested to make sure the reduction quantity must be credited to the involved beneficiary’s Aadhaar linked checking account as per the direct profit switch technique in order that the reduction quantity can’t be misused.
