Chandigarh :

With the aim to reach people with minimal access to best-in-class healthcare facilities, Trident Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation of the Trident Group, set up a free medical camp in Dhaula, Punjab. The well organised camp provided free medical checkup and free medications along with consultancy, to all patients who attended the camp.

The initiative was led under the vision and guidance of Padma Shri Rajinder Gupta, Chairman, Trident Group and Mrs. Madhu Gupta, Chairperson, Trident Foundation. The camp was serviced by an eminent group of medical specialists from Chandigarh. They joined hands with Trident Foundation for a noble cause to serve the underprivileged of our society. The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Jasbir Aulakh, Civil Surgeon of Barnala. The doctors attended to around 350 patients in a span of four hours. It is indeed remarkable to see the number of patients the team of doctors took care of in such a short span of time. The doctors were delighted to see the meticulous arrangements and the voluntary participation of members of Trident Foundation, to manage the camp successfully. The doctors covered orthopedic, ophthalmology, gynecology and general medicine related causes of the patients at the camp.

During the occasion, Ms. Sara Sharma, Executive Director, Trident Foundation, shared the foundation’s core objective, that is, to contribute for the welfare of society and nurture humanity. She said, “It is being driven by the vision of our leader Padma Shri Rajinder Gupta, who always says that his goal in life is to add value to the lives of people, and this inspires every member of the group to strive forward for the cause of education, healthcare and women empowerment. In future we shall continue undertaking such endeavours for the welfare of the society.”
