An inter-state legal carrying a reward of Rs one lakh was arrested in Haryana’s Gurugram, police stated on Thursday.
According to the police, against the law department workforce of the Gurugram Police had nabbed seven folks in May 2023 from village Mahendrawada within the Bhondsi space whereas planning to commit theft within the metropolis.
In reference to the matter, a case was filed underneath the related sections of the IPC, together with the Arms Act on the Bhondsi police station in Gurugram.
While taking additional motion within the case, the police arrested Vikas alias Vicky, who was absconding, from Gokulpur in Rajasthan’s Sikar district, on Tuesday and took him on police remand.
During police questioning and whereas reviewing the legal report of the accused it was revealed that the accused has 5 circumstances of theft, assault, theft, kidnapping, and Arms Act registered in opposition to him in Rajasthan, and in Mahendragarh, Gurugram and Dadri of Haryana.
“The Haryana Police had announced a reward on his arrest. The suspect was involved in five serious cases, ” stated Varun Dahiya ACP (crime).
