Senior Congress chief and former Union Minister P. Chidambaram on Thursday took a dig at Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and likewise questioned the Prime Minister over not visiting violence-hit Manipur.
In a tweet, Chidambaram mentioned, “Ethnic cleansing is shameful, ” admitted the Home Minister. It occurred beneath his watch. He added that it’s ‘extra shameful’ that politics is being performed on it. He is flawed.”

His remarks got here a day after Shah, whereas talking within the Lok Sabha on the no-confidence movement, mentioned that the ethnic strife in Manipur “is shameful, but what ‘s more shameful is how the opposition is playing politics over the issue”.
