Congress legislators led by Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Monday staged a walkout from the Haryana Assembly, demanding the resignation of minister Sandeep Singh, who has been booked on fees of sexual harassment and wrongful confinement of a girl coach.
The girls legislators of the Congress raised slogans towards the federal government.
Speaker Gian Chand Gupta knowledgeable the Opposition that the matter couldn’t be mentioned as it’s sub-judice. This agitated them and so they staged a walkout.
Gupta stated Sandeep Singh is but to be held responsible.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar clarified that the Opposition couldn’t compel them to make the minister resign.
