Chandigarh:  Saddened throughout the downfall of six-time Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh on Thursday said the nation lost a capable overseer and a noble man, who was cherished by individuals and a coach for some.

“Profoundly disheartened to know about the dying of previous Himachal CM Raja Virbhadra Singhji, ” Amarinder said in a tweet.

“A capable manager and a respectable man who was cherished by individuals, he was a senior sibling as well as a guide to numerous to us. May god award his spirit everlasting harmony.”

Virbhadra Singh died early Thursday at the Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital (IGMCH) in Shimla following a two-month long fight with post-Covid intricacies, specialists said. He was 87.

Having a place with the recent illustrious families, both Congress veterans – Amarinder Singh and Virbhadra Singh – have close family ties as well.

The late boss clergyman’s most youthful girl, Aprajita Singh, is hitched to Angad Singh, the grandson of the recent Patiala sovereignty’s Amarinder Singh.

Virbhadra Singh, was famously known as ‘Raja Saab’, was naturally introduced to the recent royal province of Bushahr in the slope state.

In political circles, Amarinder Singh is known for his ‘imperial ways’ yet for ‘Raja Saab’, who was in dynamic legislative issues for over 50 years, he had no hesitations about collapsing his hands and bowing his head before the ordinary people with regards to looking for votes.

Amarinder Singh has a long relationship with the slope state. He claims two genealogical plantations – one at Kandyali close to Narkanda, approximately 60 km from state capital Shimla, and another at Dochi close to Chail in Solan area.
